The Delft Open is the yearly international debating competition organized in Delft. Teams from all over Europe will face each other in different debates.

Delft Open is known for offering great food, an amazing social with free drinks, crash for all, intriguing motions made by skilled CA’s, a break to semis, a novice final, and a very high level of debating.
The competing debaters will be given a challenging motion about a burning topic in society only 15 minutes before the debate starts. After that time and without any external help, they have to either defend or attack that motion, based on which side they were assigned.

Challenge your perspective while highly skilled European debaters compete to win Delft’s established international debating tournament.
